Lewis Chadwick, Jr. Life Story

Lewis F. Chadwick, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, April 5, 20-19 at his home. He was born on January 28, 1938 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Lewis P. and Elizabeth (Ellis) Chadwick. He married the former Bobbie S. McGill on October 16, 1964 in Muncie. Bobbie survives, as well as their two sons, Lewis (Jamie) Chadwick II, Chris (Pamela) Chadwick; 5 loving grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle, Dillion, Taylor and Jordan Chadwick; and 1 great grandson Liam Chadwick.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Lewis was the founder of Chadwick Tool Supply for 17 years. In 1997, he started along with his wife and sons C & B Custom Modular, Inc. in Bristol, IN.

Lewis served in the U.S Marine Corps from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1959; he then served in the USMC reserves until 1963.

Lewis was very social and enjoyed being around people, telling stories and BS ing. He loved living and boating on the St. Joseph River, enjoying all the river had to offer, either driving everyone around in the pontoon or pulling his sons and grand kids skiing. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen, under the care of Billings Funeral and Cremation Services.
