Joshua Swoverland

ELKHART — Joshua Swoverland, 29, of  Elkhart passed away at his home Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, after a long battle with diabetes.

Joshua was born Dec. 20, 1987, in South Bend.

Joshua enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars and trucks.

Joshua is survived by his father and stepmother John (Mary) Swoverland; mother and stepfather Debbie (James) Crawford; sister Holly (Matt) Edwards; grandparents Sylvia Swoverland and Jean (Tim) O’Hara; nephews Landen and Ryder Edwards and five uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Swoverland and George Lewis.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Sept. 15, with visitation two hours prior to service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Mark Waltz.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
