JoAnn was a homemaker who simply loved holidays and family gatherings.
No matter what the occasion, “grandma’s” house was the center of the universe for friends, family and even the neighborhood children, where she would cook, care for and give love to just about all who came by.
She was also a devout Christian lady, and enjoyed her daily devotions like reading her Bible, listening to gospel music and teaching Sunday school for a time.
She also enjoyed flower gardening, antiquing and watching westerns on TV.
Memorial donations may be given in her memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center.
