Mrs. Jeri Elizabeth Struble, 88 of Goshen, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home on Tuesday, Apr. 30, 2019.
She was born in Goshen on Apr. 10, 1931 to the late Harold J. and Elizabeth (Wolford) Waterman, Sr. She later married Jerry H. Struble in Elkhart on June 21, 1953. He survives at home after 65 wonderful years together.
Also surviving are her daughters Cathie (Steven Lisi) Struble and Cindie (Jeff) Dale; grandsons Joshua (Krystal) and Chad Dale; brother Harold Waterman, Jr., and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded by her sister-in-law Sharon Waterman and her beloved dog, Jazzy.
Jeri’s life will be celebrated at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 with a visitation beginning at 4 pm followed by a service at 7 pm. Pastor Terri Peterson of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Elkhart will officiate and cremation will follow services.
Jeri was a data entry technician for BABSCO of Elkhart for over 20 years. She was also a member at St. James as well as the Maplecrest Country Club in Goshen. She loved to golf, watch her birds in her yard and spend time with her husband and family.
The family wishes to send a special blessing to Kayla and Beth of Heartland Hospice who provided outstanding comfort care for Jeri during her final hours. Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County and condolences may reach the family by visiting the funeral home’s website.
