Jay M. Rosenberger

Jay M. Rosenberger, 77, passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart, with his family at his side.

He was born on April 27, 1940 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Sylvester and Leona (Alley) Rosenberger. On June 19, 1977, he married Victoria Ann (Samela) Brown in Brookville, Indiana.

Jay and Victoria moved to the Elkhart area to retire about 20 years ago from Chicago, where he worked in sales at Mid-America Tile Co. Jay also worked in RV Sales in Elkhart.

He proudly served for 8 years in the United States Air Force, as a medic during the Korean War.

Jay enjoyed bowling, fishing and boating, and was a Notre Dame football fan.Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Victoria Ann; five children, Robin Rosenberger, Terry Rosenberger, Brian (Sujane) Rosenberger, Desiree O’Connell and Tina (Phil) Abatecola; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Sandy Bevelhemer and brothers, Keith and Jerry Rosenberger survive as well.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will take place at a later date.
