James S. Mast

ELKHART — James S. Mast, 47, Elkhart, was found passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at his home.

James was born June 5, 1970 in Elkhart.

He had his own business, Jim’s Nursery; was employed at Lochmandy Motors and most recently did U-Haul Rental Service.

He enjoyed volunteering at Shepherds Cove Food Panty.

James was survived by his sons Tyler and Christian Mast, mother and step-father Riena (Wayne) Mast-Sommers; brothers Timothy (Tracy) Mast; step-brothers Phillip Sommers, Troy Sommers; niece Cassie Kronewitter; nephews Timothy Mast II, Robert Mast, Brandon Kronewitter; and many other loving extended family and friends.

His two loving labs Bailey and Willow were his constant loving companions.

He was preceded in death by his father Arnold Dean Mast and his son Dominick Mast.

James’ hobbies were playing texas hold’em and euchre tournaments, along with lots of karaoke.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 1010 East Mishawaka Road, Elkhart, officiated by Rev. Brian Whidden.
