Jacqueline Lamb Life Story

Jacqueline E. “Jackie” Lamb, 84, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s and passed away Monday evening, Feb. 12, 2018, at Greenleaf Health Campus. 

A native of Elkhart and graduate from Elkhart High School, she was born Nov. 19, 1933, to the late William H. and Catherine (Lenzo) Lamb. 

Surviving are her brothers, Bill (Sue) Lamb, Chuck (Betty) Lamb; and her loving nieces and nephew, Susie (Gary) Tucker, Kathy Bremer, Chuck (Susie) Lamb Jr., Julie (Charles) Hunt and her two special great-nephews, she adored, Max Lamb and Brandon Hunt. 

Jackie was employed with Elkhart County for more than 25 years; she also worked as a dental assistant for Dr.  Eugene Ellis. 

Jackie was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol.  

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her many friends, family and nieces and nephews. 

Per Jackie’s wishes, all services will be private. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Bristol, officiated by the Rev. Robert “Bob” Van Kempen. 

She will be laid to rest next to her mother in St. Vincent Cemetery in Elkhart. 

The family kindly request memorial donations in Jackie’s name to St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol, IN 46507. 

Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
