Homer L. Sullivan

Homer L. Sullivan, 67, of Goshen, passed away to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1952 to the late Glen Hershel and Helen Marie (Brumment) Sullivan.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Irons; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; special nieces, Shirly Kelley and Angel Irons; and many friends from ADEC. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen Hershel Sullivan Jr.; and sister, Yvonne Lawhorn.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Little Pine Cemetery. A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at ADEC Building 2, 19670 State Road 120, Bristol, IN. Memorial donations may go back to the family. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart is in charge of arrangements.

Homer worked for ADEC industries as an assembly worker for many years and anyone who knew him would tell you that he was sweet, loving, and kind. He loved everyone, especially his sister’s daughters Shirly and Angel, and was loved by everyone he met. Homer was always very empathetic and caring to all. He loved to playfully tease his family and friends with the occasional, “I’m going to get you.” He had a warm personality and was always seen with a friendly smile on his face. Homer looked forward to his two favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas. He enjoyed playing Bingo with his sister, Linda, and visiting McDonald’s and Burger King. He also enjoyed watching classic cartoons, like Rocky and Bullwinkle, and loved to sip on a nice refreshing Coke or Pepsi. Homer will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
