Dianne Lynn Osborne

 ELKHART - Dianne Satterfield Rife Osborne, 73, went to join other family members in Heaven on March 23, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 23, 1945 at Ft. McPherson, Atlanta, GA to the late James and Jeanette (Morton) Satterfield. On April 8, 1984, she married Douglas Osborne. He passed away December 16, 2011.

Dianne was a 1964 graduate of Elkhart High School and was employed by Miles Laboratories (Bayer) as a union employee, retiring after 30 years of service. After retiring, she attended Ivy Tech Community College and became a Medical Transcriptionist, working from home for the next 5 years.

She was a member of Michiana Community Church on Ash road in Granger.

Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Lynn Campogni, Angela Bianco; 7 grandchildren, Justine Rife Sheppard, Andrew (Alyssa) Campogni, Nicole Wasmuth, Whitney Ullery, Taylor Maiden, Tasha (Jeff) Ewing, Tiffany Schuster; 7 great grandchildren, Tyree Rife, Angela Campogni, Philip James Campogni, Caroline McMurtry, Logan Wasmuth, Natalie Maiden and Alyssa Ullery; two sisters, Kathy Jo Dardis, Jeanene Konanz; aunt Marilynn Hoffman and sister-in law Doris Satterfield.

In addition to her parents, and husband, a son Steven Rife II and brother James B. Satterfield preceded her in death.

Per her wishes, cremation was chosen, her cremains will be placed with her husband Doug at a later date in Prairie Street Cemetery Veterans Tower.
