To Those of Us Who Remain,
It has been our blessed good fortune to have grown up together in our large and extended Italian family. While I'm saddened to lose my laughter- loving and vibrant Great Aunt, I am sincerely thankful to have had her in my life for so many good years. I regret I won't be able to be with you to celebrate her life, but am confident you know I am with you in spirit and trust that one, or many, of you will raise a glass (or two) from me in tribute. There will be tears, but sadness won't dominate the day because that's not how Dee lived; it's not how any of them lived, nor any of us -dwelling downheartedly on things that cannot be changed. From Great Grandma Ida on down, the life lesson was to embrace the moment fully, living robustly and joyfully for as long and as well as possible. Even when tragedy strikes us, we get back up, find something to laugh about, and keep moving forward because that's what those Cappellettis taught us. We know that when we fall, we will not fall far, and we will not struggle alone because we will always have each other to depend upon. Peace and love, love, love to you all.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dee, yet in reading her obituary, I can easily see she has passed her personality and charm to her daughter Lori. God Bless You Dee and thank you for making a huge contribution during your lifetime. Rest in peace, Steve Krupnik

Dear DeGolier Children/Grandchildren:
So very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. We fondly remember the several years we were your backyard neighbors (our home was on Neff Street) and always had chats over the fence. Your parents were great people, and we are proud to have been friends with them.

Lori and Patti,
Kurt and I are so sorry about the loss of your mom. I remember her laughing whenever I saw here with one of you. It's so hard to lose your mom. We're at the age where it's happening to all of us. I know she knew you loved her and is at peace. Love to you and your families.
