Darryl Waggoner

Darryl Waggoner, 54, of Middlebury, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 27, 1965 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to the late Dewey Waggoner Jr. and Jessie Jeanne (Daniels) Cordery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia (Rader) Waggoner and his children, Thomas Waggoner, Heather (Walter) Chase, David Waggoner, and Rebekah Waggoner. Darryl is also survived by his brothers, Jeff Wallace, Joe Waggoner, Charles Cordery, Harold Ridings, and Tony Waggoner; sisters, Donna Waggoner and Lori Holdeman; and his granddaughter, Peyton Torok. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elkhart. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Waypoint Community Church, 56893 Co Rd 29, Goshen, IN 46528 with an hour of visitation prior from 3-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.

Darryl was a kind and loving father and husband. He worked in the RV industry for several years and was a devout Christian who attended Waypoint Community Church. When he was a young man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was an avid Coca Cola collector and loved spending time with his family around the bonfire. Darryl will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
