Daniel "Keith" Keith Allen

Daniel Keith Allen “Keith” was born in Michigan City, IN on March 11, 1970 to Finley and Cardean (Clark) Allen. He passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Elkhart, IN on May 14, 2019 at the young age of 49.

Keith is survived by his mother Cardean Allen; daughter Camber Rayne “fishin’ bug” (Gabriel Sheldon) Allen; former wife, Heather (Bice) Anderson; fiancé, Kristi Gilbert; step-daughters Elizabeth Shoue and Eden Diann “Sweedie” (Dylon Ramey) Gilbert; step-son Richard Cole Gilbert; grand-daughter Callie Elizabeth “Bumpa” Sheldon; sister Lisa (Lowell) Noneman; nieces Jennifer (Brian) Frank and Jessica (Jeremy) Wills along with numerous other beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nieces, great- nephews and cousins. Also surviving are his best friends Scott (Jodi) Nagle, Al “Dad” Nagle, John Horning, Shane Frank and Donnie Noel, among many other dear friends too numerous to list.  

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Finley Allen.

Keith was known for his ability to fix just about anything with or without an engine, his pride in his daughter, his love for his family and friends, his quick humor and providing nearly everyone he knew with at least one nickname- the more it ruffled their feathers, the better. He loved fishing, four-wheeling, motorsports, boating, camping, gardening, Doberman Pinschers, and he was almost always listening to rock music on the stereo. He had a passion for rock music, but especially Metallica.

Keith attended Northridge High School and was employed at Navistar, Forest River, and put in over 10 years at Monaco Coach.

A private memorial will be arranged shortly, details to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Billings Funeral Home toward the costs of final arrangements would be appreciated.
