Christopher Wallace Life Story

ELKHART – Christopher Allen Wallace, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home. Christopher was born in Elkhart on May 27, 1959 to Mancel and Barbara Jean (Gray) Wallace. He is survived by his father, Mancel of Bedford, IN; 3 sons, Anthony Gordon of Elkhart, Chris Axell of Boston, MA and Christopher Allen Wallace-Erwin of Michigan City, IN; 2 daughters, Chrishakeyna “Chrissy” Brown of Merced, CA and Ronita Felder of Las Vegas, NV; 1 brother, Andre Wallace of Escondido, CA; 1 sister, Beverly Wallace of Indianapolis; 3 step-brothers, James Mason and wife Glenda Mason, Michigan City, Victor Mason and wife Delores, Pine Lake, MS, Vernon Mason, South Bend; 1 step-sister, Cookie Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; 10 grandsons; 1 granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; step-mother, Dorothy Wallace and stepsister, Capri Wallace.

Christopher worked for Forge Industrial in Elkhart. He attended school in the Elkhart School System. Christopher enjoyed practicing Karate, training dogs, reading and studying the bible. A man of strong, devout and unshakable Christian belief, Christopher rejoiced in his ability to walk with and serve his Savior on a daily basis. God’s divine presence played a huge role in Christopher’s life, and allowed him the ability to re-prioritize his life by righting past wrongs and living in the service of others. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has been chosen. Arrangements for Christopher are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart.
