Charles Ray “Chuck” Holdeman, 69, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:55 am following a brief illness.
He was born in Elkhart on May 19, 1950 to the late Merle and Marilou (Wolf) Holdeman, and later married Mejen Pak at the US Embassy in Seoul, South Korea on May 3, 1972. She survives him after 47 wonderful years together
Chuck is survived by his children Teresa J. (Andrew) Miller and Mike L. Holdeman and grandchildren Logyn Z. and Emilee M. Miller. Brothers Paul and Thomas Holdeman precede Chuck in death.
No immediate services have been planned and Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart have been assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
Chuck was an honorably discharged US Army veteran and maintenance supervisor for Specialty Heat Treat of Elkhart, where he had worked for 20 years until his health required his early retirement. He also owned and operated Custom Enterprises of Elkhart, which manufactured van and conversion seating. He belonged to Elkhart Moose #599, enjoyed spending time with his family and fixing things up around the house
