GRANGER — Carol Ann Seal, 74, of Granger, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 23, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Nov. 17, 1943, in Wabash, to the late Charles and Florence Lucille (Lewis) Mannies.
She first married Rodney Allen Rice, they divorced, and she later married Raymond H. Seal on July 11, 2001, in Elkhart; they had been together for 11 years before they were married. Rodney passed away in 2009 and Raymond passed away Aug. 5, 2001.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Diane Rice and Angela (Bryon) Crebbs; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Allen Rice and two sisters, Theresa Brim and Mary Ruth Davis-Dunn.
Carol graduated from Wabash High School.
She worked at Excel Industries Inc. from 1972 to 1980.
She also worked at Nichols Bakery on Harrison Street as a cashier and stock clerk.
Carol retired from Walmart on C. R. 6 where she was a cashier.
She liked watching T.V., especially game shows and really enjoyed “America’s Got Talent” and “The Voice.”
Friends and family of Carol may gather from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, with a memorial service at 8 p.m.
Pastor Terry Searls will officiate.
As per Carol’s wishes, cremation was chosen.
Memorials are requested to Cancer Resources for Elkhart County, 23971 U.S. Highway 33, Elkhart, IN 46517, in honor of Carol.
