Brandon L. Weaver

GRANGER — Brandon Lee Weaver, 34, of Granger, passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Osceola, on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018.

He was born in Elkhart on Nov. 14, 1984, to Danny E. Weaver and Kim S. Elswick. They all survive along with Kim’s fiancé, Michael Vidulich, who served as Brandon’s father figure.

On Feb. 8, 2016, he married Rhiannon (Malone) Weaver.

She survives along with children Lailah, Liam, Bella and Zada Weaver; siblings Brittani (Ryan Worden) Weaver and Brock Weaver; aunt Kathy Vervynckt; Tasha Loft (the mother of Lailah and Liam); and seven loving nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Elswick; an aunt, Kristen Lee; and his brother Brock’s significant other, Rufa Sanzhuras, who also perished in the same accident.

Private family services for Brandon will be held at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart and burial will follow in Olive Cemetery in Elkhart.

Brandon was a production worker in the local RV industry. He was also an avid and accomplished poker player, and enjoyed visiting the local casinos, where he would usually walk away a winner. Brandon’s family was closest to his heart, but his loyal and friendly nature found him many friends. He will be best remembered for his ability to laugh, especially at himself, for living life to the fullest, and for never being afraid to push boundaries.
