Bonnie J. Hill

BRISTOL - Bonnie Jean Hill, 64, of Bristol, Indiana, passed away Monday evening August 7, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne. Bonnie was born on September 23, 1952 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Charles D. and Colleen V. (Fuller) Benedict. She married Stacy Hill on September 4, 1992. Surviving are her siblings, Dian (Rod) Hite of Bristol, Chris (Carol) Benedict of Tigard, OR, Gerry Benedict of Portland, Tina Sauter of Bristol, Russ (Adrianne) Benedict of Harrisburg, OR and Denise Benedict of Woodburn, OR; also an aunt Cheryl Nehler of Bristol; uncles Joe (Kathy) Livings of Bristol, Ted (Loretta) Fuller and Al (Kathy) Livings, both of Elkhart. Many nieces, nephews and friends survive as well. Bonnie loved the outdoors, where she enjoyed camping, fishing and nature. She also enjoyed art and working on crafts. But she especially loved doting on all her nieces and nephews. Children also held a special place in her heart. In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen, under the care of Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services. With her love for children, the family is kindly requesting donations to either Riley Children’s Foundation or Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation.
