Thomas R. ''Tippy'' Boze

ELKHART -- A graveside service with full military honors for Thomas R. "Tippy" Boze will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fort Custer National Cemetery, near Battle Creek, Mich.

Mr. Boze, 60, of 54854 C.R. 101, Elkhart, died June 16, 2006, in Liemen, Germany, where he was visiting his brother.

Mr. Boze served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he suffered wounds leaving him permanently disabled. He was a life member of the DAV, VFW and the National Purple Hearts of America. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and bow hunting. He also enjoyed getting together with friends for coffee.
