A celebration of life gathering in honor of Mona will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Billings Funeral Home from 3 PM to 7 PM. Per the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.
Mona worked for Dexter Axle as a machine operator for over 30 years, notably receiving a 25-year plaque for her dedication to the company.
In her spare time, Mona enjoyed being outdoors soaking up the sunshine or walking her dogs. She also liked to complete crosswords, puzzles, or read a good biography or nonfiction novel. Most importantly, Mona adored spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved very much and brought her so much joy.
It should also be noted that Mona was an avid animal lover, taking care of her own pets, local strays, or even wildlife around her. She and her husband would go on drives and look for animals in need, always donated to various animal organizations, and simply enjoyed the presence of a furry friend in their home.
Mona will best be remembered as the true definition of an angel. She could be feisty at times but was always an empathetic, hardworking, faithful, and giving soul. Mona, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
