Glenn Emmons Life Story

Glenn Foster Emmons, 60, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 surrounded by his close family.

Glenn was born on January 10, 1964 to Glenn F. Emmons and Maryann (Springer) Stroup in Allegan, MI.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn; brother, George Sweezy and sister, Roberta Sweezy.

Glenn is survived by his mother, Maryann Stroup of Elkhart; sister, Susan (Steve) Windsor of Mishawaka; nieces, Leeah (Derek) Killingbeck of Niles, MI and Bekka Oxley (Austin Kunze) of Mishawaka and many close friends and work friends.

As a child, Glenn loved being a small-town kid. He enjoyed biking, fishing, camping and flag football. Glenn received his diploma from Allegan High School along with his mother.

Glenn was a hard worker who was last employed as a group leader at Forest River Dynamax Division. Glenn was also a utility person at 20th Century and Motel 8.

He was extremely proud of his work accomplishments up until the very end.

Glenn appreciated the outdoors, especially fishing at the local lakes. He would go on hunting excursions with his mother, often catching up on life.

Glenn was loved by his family and friends. He was easy going and a great friend and will be dearly missed.

There will be no formal services for Glenn at this time. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
