Hey girlfriend--you were one of the strongest fighters against THIS crummy world filled with disease could ever know... always optimistic with every new "try"--Leaving us old co-workers and facebook buddies with "fun" and CRAZY memories... your sharing warm hands, kindness and appreciation towards others... your love--for THIS LIFE--will be remembered...--but, most of all, your "wicked" sense of humor: That will always live on--and, when I see you again, I'll know it's you... the ONE angel with scarlet red horns, laying on the the fluffiest white cloud--holding a NEW Gleaming GOLD BROOMSTICK--telling EARTH stories to other angels...(((HUGS)))...

I want to say to my friends, Karen you was like a big sister to me and Marge we grew up knowing you just as if you was our own sister. You told us back when your dad passed that you felt the same way about us and so now is my time to say Karen I will miss you and please know that someday we will meet again on the other side. To mom Rhea and the rest of the family know that we love you and that our thoughts and prayer are there with you and that if my mom could have stayed here to be with you she would have because your one of her best friends and she loved Karen like she was her daughter also. Once again Karen RIP and tell our daddy's that we love them also. Love ya sis and i will miss our little laughs and chats we had on facebook.

I am so sorry to hear about Karen, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I didn't work in the same department as Karen and really only got to know her in the last few years. She donated things to fill the Easter baskets etc. for Relay For Life teams fundraisers. She came to a few fundraisers when she was up to it. I will miss her at our Noodles & Co. fundraiser where we would sit and talk, she inspired me to do even more to raise money to find a CURE.
It's because of her, my Dad and a few others that I do Relay For Life,
Cancer does not sleep and for those 24 hours neither do I .
God Bless and Rest In Peace my friend.
