This is Steve's sister, Cheryl. I cannot be there, I know that Steve is not dead but that he now has a great new life as he knew Christ as his Lord and Savior and that he is with him this very moment. I would like to have him back which is unfair of me as he has finally gained what he has freely received from Jesus Christ. I believe that he lived his whole life for this very moment. This is what I must do. Many things separate us now, holding unto the truth of Christ assures us that, ultimately, we will be together forever. Until I see you again.

To the family of Steve, we want you to know that Steve will not be forgotten. Our class of EHS72 still have reunions every 5 years and on each 10th we have a special memorial for those classmates that have went before us. Our condolences to the family of Steve. RIP old friend and fellow classmate.

Wendy, I am at a loss for words to describe my sadness at Steve's passing. We lost touch a few years ago when you and Steve moved to Arizona. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. Steve was a kind soul, and will be greatly missed, until we meet again in glory. Steve Simons
