Rachael Garrett

ELKHART — Rachael A. Garrett, 75 of Elkhart passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in her home with her family at her side.  Rachael was born November 18, 1941 in Elkhart to the late Ray and Gurley Fisher. She was married to the late Clyde Garrett. She retired from the Elcona Country Club after 28 years of service. She enjoyed her family and gardening. Rachael was survived by her sons Thomas (Mary) Conway Jr. of Elkhart, Douglas (Shana) Conway; daughters Carrie Conway of Elkhart, Amy (Randy) Houser of Edwardsburg; brother Michael (Peggy) Fisher of Elkhart; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Rachael was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Fisher. A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin, Elkhart. A private immediate family burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Pastor Steve Campagna will be officiating the service.
