ELKHART — Kathy Snyder, 66, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, June 5, at her home after an apparent heart attack. Kathy was born on March 8, 1951 in Toledo, OH to the late Salvatore and Bernice (Sobieski) Tabone. Survived by her husband of 35 years Ed Snyder; son James Rhoades; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and brothers, Phillip Tabone, Sal (Mhy Cayabyab) Tabone and Mark Tabone. Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter Marieelaina Guerra. Kathy was an ordained minister and a spiritualist, living all over America and was able to teach in Poland. She formerly owned Nana’s Flowers in Deming, N.M. A celebration of life gathering for Kathy will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at the North Pointe Apartments Community Building, 3330 North Pointe Blvd. Elkhart. Per her request, cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home is assisting with her care. The family request memorials to the Humane Society of Elkhart Co.
