Melanie R. Fabian Joins Billings(Elkhart, Indiana) - 9/28/2007
Billings Funeral Home is pleased to announce that Melanie R. Fabian has joined the funeral home as an intern, A native of Portage Indiana where she graduated 54 of out 499 in her class from Portage High School in 2005. She then graduated with honors in May 2007 from Ivy Tech Community College in Gary, Indiana where she received her Assocites Degree in Mortuary Science. She is an inductee in ALPHA PHI OMEGA Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, was Vice President of the Mortuary Science Club at Ivy Tech Community College, and was a recipient of the 2007 3rd. place Order Of The Golden Rule scholarship for Motuary Science. Melanie brings new idea's and enthusiam to us and we cannot wait until she becomes a licensed funeral director to share her talents with the wonderful families we serve in the Michiana area.
