ELKHART, Indiana – The phase II renovation of Billings Funeral Home is complete as interior rooms have been redecorated including kitchen, family room, and office space.
In addition, all hallways and the entrances have been refreshed with paint to warm the environment for the visitors paying tribute to those departed.
Billings sought the assistance of decorator Ashley Sprunger and owner Deborah Carpenter, Sweet Water Interiors, Goshen, to make its extensive renovations both homey and pleasing to the eye – all for the sake of the families it serves. “Our goal has been major room make-overs that stand out and above,” says Brad Billings, owner and senior funeral director. “Considering comfort, convenience, serenity, and cheer, we chose a modern scheme to give the rooms a new look that is pleasingly up-to-date.”
Chosen Business of the Year for 2008 during the annual Business Recognition & Fairbanks Awards Dinner hosted by the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, the notable Elkhart funeral home has expanded and remodeled over the past two years purchasing the former Dixie Cream donut shop to become the new arrangement office and selection rooms and the lot to the north for additional parking.
When Brad Billings started Billings Funeral Home in 1996, his desire was to answer a growing need for a funeral home dedicated to bringing affordability with a dignified service to our community. Serving all faiths and families in the greater Elkhart area, Billings states, “We are dedicated to dignity without compromise, communication to aid and simplify the process, and customization for individualized services always at the most cost effective way.”
